As I promised before, here is video of Mardez Davis, a senior at the Academies at Anacostia, recounting his experiences with dropping out and returning to high school. And thanks to Brittany, I found out Mardez was featured on the amazing website People’s District, a labor of love by photographer and DJ Danny Harris, who shares photos and stories of the idiosyncratic people who make up the D.C. population.
