The Evolution of What’s Good DC? Part 2

0 Comments 03 November 2010

Reform and Adapt….

When executing producing a television show those two words are vital to keep your sanity.

My team and I are working to meet the target date of November 2nd for the first practice in the studio.

Since that deadline is quickly approaching we are hard at work.

  • Mike was contacting the schools to confirm their participation.
  • Selina was coordinating the student host auditions.
  • Danielle was creating the marketing materials.
  • Ariel was contacting local artist that could potentially perform.
  • I was getting the marketing materials that Danielle created to the printer, delegating task to the team, creating a budget, coordinating Howard Host auditions, inputing data into ClientSpot, etc.

Then everything was changed when I received a phone call from the PMC “Gods”.

  • Mike is now my co producer. He is also the producer of the School Reform show and contacting schools to participate in the studio audience.
  • Ariel is the producer of the Drop-out Rate show
  • Selina is the producer of the STDs/STIs show.
  • I am still working on updating ClientSpot, ensuring that we are on budget, handling all matters regarding set-design elements and ensuring that my producers get all the support they need.

My team and I have many long nights in the weeks to come.

¿What’s Good DC?” is evolving expeditiously; Wish us luck!
